How to use the Easy 1-2-3 System
Prior to racing make sure all birdsare vaccinated with PMV-1 (paramyxovirus), KM-1 (paratyphoid). Youngbirdsshould be vaccinated with pox vaccine. Treat all birds with enrofloxanliquid for 10 days - 8cc per gallon of water.
Regarding morning and eveningfeeding amounts in this system:
Feed all they want in the evening. The morning feeding is 1/3 of the amount of the evening feeding.
Day Birds Return from Race
Return Combo - 1 rounded teaspoonper gallon of water.
Feed: 25% safflower, 25% whitemilo, 15% hemp, 15% wheat, 20% raw Spanish peanuts - human grade.
1st Day after Race
5 in 1 Treatment - 2 level teaspoonper gallon of water
Optional: Also give birdsrespiratory drops.
Feed: 100% barley.
Fresh grit with Multi Minerals andMega Mins.
2nd Day after Race
5 in 1 Treatment - 2 level teaspoonsper gallon of water.
Feed: 100% barley.
Loft fly. Give birds a bath.
3rd Day after Race
Therapeutic Cleanser - 1 roundedteaspoon per gallon of water.
Optional: Give birds 2Performance Pills.
Feed the birds the following"FEED MIX":
Feed Mix = 15% safflower, 15% whitemilo, 15% hemp, 15% hard wheat, 35% condition feed*, 5% raw Spanish peanuts. (*Condition feed is a blend of 14 different seeds with `5% protein content)
Train birds 50 - 60 miles.
4th Day after Race
Respiratory Powder - 1 levelteaspoon per gallon of water.
Optional: Give birds 2Performance Pills.
Feed birds the FEED MIX.
Train birds 70 miles.
5th Day after Race
Pro Boost - 1 rounded teaspoon pergallon of water.
Optional: Give birdsRespiratory Drops.
Give birds 2 Performance Pills.
Feed birds the FEED MIX.
Train birds 50 miles, then keep themin the loft the rest of the day.
6th Day After Race (Day ofshipping)
Vita Pro Combo - 1 rounded teaspoonper gallon of water from early morning until 4 hours before shipping. Then leave plain water in loft for last 4 hours before shipping.
Optional: Give birds 2tablespoons Formula Powder with 1 tablespoon Green Racing Vitamins.
Keep birds in loft.
Use FEED MIX - feed all they wantand feed the following times depending on race distance:
For 100 mile race - 10:00 am
For 200 mile race - 11:00 am
Feed for races that are 300 miles +
For the last 3 days and day ofshipping (days 3,4,5,6) feed in this order:
1st 20%corn 3rd 15%hemp 5th 20% condition feed
2nd 15% whitemilo 4th 15%safflower 6th raw spanish peanuts
For 300 mile race - 12:00 am
For 400 mile race - feed birds 1 time,4 hours before basketing. (If 2 day shipping - a morning and an eveningfeeding)
