Mineral / Grit Buckets

 
        
   We have been using this grit/mineral mix in our lofts       
   for several years now.  We mix it with our normal grit
   and the birds go crazy over it.  Set it in the loft and they
   eat it up before your eyes.  Imported from Europe.
   The mineral mixture is fortified with vitamins & minerals
   so it is very beneficial to your birds overall health.
   You could use it in a ceramic gallipot or mix it with your
   normal grit like we do.
   Used by many top lofts in Belgium and Holland.  Now
   available here in the US.

Shipping Cost Information
 
  The most economical shipping method we found to ship the buckets was through UPS.   We charge
  you the actual shipping cost.  Their shipping rates fluctuate so it is difficult to post a table with the
  actual rate you would be charged but we have put together a table that has an average rate for a 
  group of states so you can have some idea of what the shipping cost would be.  (Please remember
  this is an average so there are shipping costs that are lower and some that are higher.)
  
  For states in the last group listed below we can offer the option of shipping the minerals via the
  Postal Services Priority Mail in their flat rate box (for the 11 lbs of minerals - cost is $12.15) and
  large flat rate box for the 22 lbs. of minerals - cost is $15.30.)  But in order for us to use the flat rate
  boxes we have to remove the minerals from the buckets and place the minerals in plastic bags
  so it fits in the preset size of box.  So, if the plastic bucket is not important to you this option can
  save you some money.
 
  [Also, if you choose to ship the minerals using priority mail there is some room in the small flat
  rate box (11 lbs) to possibly include another product but there is no room for anything else with the
  large flat rate box (22 lbs).]
